To quote my history professor, "Everyone vote tomorrow, out of my 56 years, it's the most important election of my life time."
So this is for everyone, especially Ohioans where the vote really matters: Go out and vote because we can! Not only did everyone fight to get this vote based on age, race, and gender-- we get to use our vote to make history-- whether it be with a female vice president or an African American president. I'm not gonna say WHO to vote for, but I hope everyone thinks about our current government and thinks about the issues. It's SO important.
And for a bit of my opinion..
Think about the last 8 years with a republican, do we really want another 8 years of the same views and policies (During Bush's presidency, we have seen: higher oil prices, unrest in the middle east, and an economic depression)? And is Palin qualified to take over (because actuarists say theres a 1 in 7 chance she might have to)? Aren't we sick of war (cus mccain will just bring on more war)? Don't we need a change (in parties & ideas)?Sorry. This is my public service announcement of the year. This election is just so important-- especially when it is US that it affects the most. Consider this, we are the future and if we don't choose the right president, how can we make the best of our future? It's time for Change.
